My Story

Reclaiming Your Life: From Surviving to Thriving

Saria Moran is a Social entrepreneur and Founder of The Liberated Woman.

An NLP Practitioner and Certified Life/Divorce and Domestic Abuse Recovery Coach/Trainer, she is known for serving her clients deeply, holding a safe and sacred space without judgment, with a laser-sharp focus on the desired transformation.

Having left an abusive relationship, she understands the shame and guilt women and men carry.

Her extensive experience in Corporate Safety allows her to support clients by using risk assessments to prepare personalised safety plans to remove people from dangerous situations. She is a Chartered member of the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) and an Accredited member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Once Saria became a mother, she switched the grind for a more rewarding career where she wakes up every morning excited about her work, knowing that she is helping people rebuild their lives and step into their power. When Saria isn’t working, you’ll find her dancing the Argentine Tango and singing Disney karaoke with her daughter.

" Everyone has inherent value and deserves to be treated with respect, dignity and compassion. I am tired of people being told to extinguish their lights, stay quiet, and do as they are told. Eventually, we begin to question who we are or what we deserve because of what our partner tells us. "

The program is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for women. I understand that sharing your experiences can be incredibly challenging, especially in a group setting. That’s why I approach each session with care and patience, allowing you to participate at your own pace.

As the weeks go by, you'll find comfort in hearing others stories, which serve as a gentle reminder that you are not alone. There is never any pressure to discuss your past or current experiences until you feel ready. You have the freedom to process the information and share your thoughts when it feels right for you.

I believe that expressing emotions and sharing experiences can be a powerful way to heal. With time, it becomes easier, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

When we hear someone share an experience that resonates with our own, it can sometimes bring back intense emotions. I utilize grounding techniques to support you during these moments, ensuring you don’t feel overwhelmed. You are always welcome to turn off your camera, take a break, have some water, or do whatever helps you to recalibrate.

Often, as women begin to share their stories, it encourages others to open up as well. We create a compassionate and understanding space where you can feel safe and supported throughout your journey.

If you can't join a session, please let me know as soon as possible. Please note that I do not record sessions to protect confidentiality.

As a participant of TLW you will be invited to a private facebook group for 180 days. You can connect with the women from your cohort there.

If you are still in an abusive relationship, it's important to be very cautious. If you use WhatsApp to communicate, consider setting a timer to delete messages or saving contacts under names that the perpetrator will not recognise. You can also set a PIN for your WhatsApp messages. A safer alternative is the ‘Signal’ messenger service.

If you encounter another member of the group in public whilst with the perpetrator, it is best not to acknowledge each other to avoid raising suspicions. Your safety is paramount.

I understand that being in an abusive relationship and experiencing financial control can make it challenging to afford support services. The program fee is purposely kept low based on the value of service you receive, to empower women to invest in their selves and their healing.  If you have no access to funds then the sponsors can cover the fee. Please use the ‘apply for sponsorship’ option on the website.
